We're pleased to bring our clients a fantastic opportunity to train with one of England's best Spaniel Trainers. Steve Brewer is renowned for his ability with young dogs, this was a skill honed for over 10 years working alongside Ian Openshaw at the Rytex kennels. Steve now runs his own training kennels 'Spanbella Gundogs' in Whitchurch, Shropshire. Steve has had great success in both field trails and working test, including taking the Top spaniel title at the 2025 Game Fair. Steve brings a calm and extremely positive nature to his training, with great benefits to both dog and handler. Our training weekend will be for all abilities of handler and dog (shot will be used), Steve is great with all levels and this is a real opportunity to progress your skills and get ready for the seasons ahead. Papermill Park is a fantastic training ground, so much so it's used by the England Spaniel team!! Papermill Park has some onsite accommodation which can be booked directly with the site or via Airbnb (this will be on a first come basis) https://papermillpark.co.uk/ I will setup a Whatapp group once everyone has booked to keep everyone up to date on plans over the weekend, group meals etc.
